As a company is growing, it often finds itself in a position where current systems no longer support the needs of an organization. At Devapo we needed a new solution for HR, that could streamline reporting and monitoring the attendance of employees, so we created a customized software.
The business needs
To support our Back-Office Team, we needed to create a tool set that increases their effectiveness, not undermines it. The solution had to be user-friendly and works both on desktop and mobile devices.
We knew that lack of automation, almost no optimization and limited access to information was preventing our operations from further growth, so we had to create a fully customized tool, that saves time of our employees.

From the technical point of view, we decided that building a tailor-made software solution for back office process management will answer the needs of our growing organization.
Development from scratch introduces flexibility, as the tool can evolve with current business needs and best reflects preferences, requirements and specificity of each organisation.

Gathering Business requirements
In order to best tackle this business need, we started with planning a roadmap for the project.
We conducted an analysis and selected the processes in the organization that can be translated into modules of the program. This way we ensured easy, convenient and automated management of core Back-Office processes.
Then, we focused on designing a solution that would best tackle the challenge. We wanted the modules to pass information between each other, collect data and display results according to what we expected at the moment, so we had to prepare the requirements accordingly.
Since user experience is crucial, in order to make the platform intuitive and user-friendly, we tested it with real end-users.
Thanks to this, we ended up with a solution that was not only suited to our business needs, but also robust, scalable, flexible and with a clean interface.
After the design phase, we were ready to move on to development.
We worked leveraging an iterative approach and Agile methodologies. That always gives us the comfort that the end result will be meeting the actual business need. Since high quality is a must-have, we focused on testing along the way, to make the tool bug-free and ready for implementation.
